Types of Measuring Tapes: Steel, Fiberglass, and Polyamide

Selecting the right tape material is crucial for measurement accuracy and tool longevity. Our range offers solutions tailored to various tasks:

• Steel Tapes: Characterized by the lowest thermal expansion and the highest precision (often in EC Class II accuracy). Lacquered or polyamide-coated models are exceptionally resistant to corrosion and scratching.

• Fiberglass Tapes: Ideal for working in damp environments and wherever lightweight handling and kink resistance are important. They are non-conductive (dielectric), increasing safety when working near electrical installations.

• Cased Tapes and Open Reels: We offer measures in closed cases that protect the tape from dirt, as well as professional tapes on lightweight aluminum or plastic frames (open reels). These allow for rapid rewinding and easy cleaning of long sections (30m, 50m, and up to 100m).
